Location: Northern Ontario
- Nordik Premier Health is an agency specializing in providing professional health resources in remote areas and the great Canadian North. Since 2012, we have been a major actor in Canada, supporting communities in James Bay, Hudson Bay, Nunavik and other isolated regions. Since 2020, we have extended our services into Nunavut, Ontario and Manitoba with the same human approach. Our values are centered on respect, integrity, empathy and above all, excellence.
- Nordik partners with the regional hospitals to provide nursing services to supplement internal resources at different Remote and Semi-Isolated communities in Northern Ontario.
- The services required include the care of patients and the provision of assistance to medical doctors in the treatment of illness, the conduct of programs designed to promote health and prevent diseases, and the provision of advice. The services may also include direct patient care to individuals, families and groups in the home and community, and consultation.
- Duration: Assignments are 2 weeks to 6 months long. Many opportunities throughout the year.
Profil
Education
- Diploma in practical nursing from an approved program (College)
- Valid Registered Practical Nurse licence (College of Nurses of Ontario).
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year's practical nursing experience
